Meet Guy Mambwe, our new Local Buyer in the Procurement Department at Kipushi Mine. Born and raised in Lubumbashi, Guy attended Malikia Ya Amani Primary School and earned his State diploma from IDAP before graduating with a management degree in accounting from ISES (Institut Supérieur d’Etudes Sociales, “Higher Institute of Social Studies”) in 2012.
Guy began his career as a cashier with Securico, a RawBank contractor, and later worked at the Haut-Katanga provincial tax agency. Now part of the KICO family, he serves as a vital link between Kipushi Mine and local suppliers, dedicated to delivering results and building strong partnerships.
Guy is grateful for the warm welcome and support from the Procurement team and KICO colleagues, which have helped him settle into his new role. Outside of work, he actively participates in youth associations within the Haut-Katanga community.
We’re excited to have Guy on board as we continue to strengthen our local ties and drive sustainable growth together.
